Beyond the Horizon

In the summer of 2012 I've been to Western Australia for a month! I traveled from Perth to Shark Bay and back again, with a small campervan! Along with my best friend Bas and his sister Josje, who studied there for a half year, we had an amazing time. During my summer, it's of course winter in Australia. But winter in Australia isn't really winter as we, Europeans, would expect it. We mostly had a sunny trip during our tour through dirt and via the newly found Indian Ocean Drive up to Denham, Shark Bay, Western Australia. After staying there for a week, we returned back to Perth. On one of our last days on the trip back we stopped at a campsite at Coronation Beach. A little cheap campsite just on the edge of the ocean. The view during sunset was phenomenal. I hope I achieved capturing this truly awe-some moment in this shot. This shot is taken at the end of August, 2012. It was a nice end to our Australian trip.
